For more than a decade we’ve been setting new standards in the hire industry, & now we’ve opened an online hire depot to assist you to design your event from the comfort of your own computer.
And regardless of where in Australia you live – or beyond these shores – we deliver anywhere.
The hire depot is also a great way for clients wishing to take a peek at the many beautiful possibilities available if you would like Form Over Function to co-ordinate, design or style your wedding, private or corporate celebration.
And the best bit about the hire depot? We never stop shopping, which means you will be seeing new items and lines introduced regularly.
At Form Over Function we don’t believe in stocking what is readily available elsewhere, or sticking with the same lines always. As a company which regularly custom designs events for our clients, it means our hire clients always have access to an ever expanding & unique range, as we come up with fresh ideas& concepts, or fall in love with something we just have to have.
To make it easier to navigate your way through the hundreds of possibilities, we’ve set up eight separate stores.

Eat, Drink & Be Merry – Cupboards stacked with all the dinnerware, glassware and serviceware you’ll need to serve your guests in style.
All Things Fabric - Fabric, colour, design is our thing. Open up our linen closets to rifle through the hundreds of exquisite items on offer to dress the tables at your event, add colour & beauty to the bare walls of your marquee or venue, line a ceremony walkway & much more.
Let There be Light – Shelves aglow with a stunning array of candleholders, lanterns, votives, ranging from the chic & modern to the exotic, as well as chandeliers, floor & table lamps.
The Finishing Touches – What are cut flowers without a vase? Napkins without a napkin ring? A powder room without a stack of neatly pressed waffle weave hand towels? The cabinets in this section display hundreds of possibilities in every colour & finish to add your own style to your event.
The Big Day – To make it easier for couples looking to style their wedding ceremony, we’ve opened an online store that gathers all you might need for your day – from the just-in-case white rain umbrellas, to garden benches to create an outdoor chapel, or the champagne glasses you need to be able to celebrate your vows with your guests as soon as the I Dos are done. But since every celebration is unique, we also suggest you take a stroll through the other sections if you don’t find what you’re looking for here, as every ceremony should be unique & chances are that special something you are looking for is tucked away on a different shelf of our depot.
The Big Stuff – Sometimes we can't believe what we have sitting in our warehouse either. Need picket fencing?
